Most of us are fully absorbed by our daily lives, our commitments, our mortgages our jobs and our families. Some of us are smart enough to ensure that we make time for ourselves and maybe do something that refreshes and nurtures our individual spirit.
We live in a society that is a ‘pond’ where the ruling values of our community are all about us, in newspapers, advertising, consumer goods, politics. Few of us question these values…they are often taken as given and unchangeable. Of course they are not.
