Two years ago, a few like minded creative people were talking about our beautiful and tranquil environment. The hills and valleys of the northern rivers region are a natural shelter for artists and sculptors, writers, musicians, cooks, potters and poets. They are quietly developing their creative instincts in a marvellous environment where one can seek balance and stimulus and fulfilment.
We thought we could provide a promotional platform for the talents and hidden assets of our region...a hub where local creative people, growers, service providers and all are linked together for the benefit of eachother, our friends and visitors.
Certainly we have a local creative and artistic agenda and all site entries will need to meet that broad criteria. We are not a tourisim promotion body per se, but we will be investing in the promotion of the region`s authentic talents, via events and this website. We fully fund ourselves and are beholden to no one. We are delighted to share our region with the wider world and are also happy to hear from anyone who would like to be included.
